LUNΔTICA – PINK FLOYD COLLECTORS EXPO

Largest exhibition of Pink Floyd memorabilia. Free entrance. Spoleto, Municipal Library. Palazzo Mauri | 11–27 July 2025

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of Pink Floyd, LUNΔTICA – PINK FLOYD COLLECTORS EXPO presents the largest exhibition of Pink Floyd memorabilia ever held in Italy. Featuring more than 500 rare and historic items, the exhibition includes original concert posters, vintage vinyls and cassettes, flyers, autographs, photographs, magazines, postcards, and documents – some never displayed publicly before.

Hosted across three floors of Palazzo Mauri in Spoleto (home to the “G. Carducci” Library), this immersive exhibition offers a unique journey through Pink Floyd’s visual and sonic universe – from their psychedelic roots in 1965 to their final studio albums. Curated by The Lunatics, a renowned Italian collective of Pink Floyd historians and collectors, the expo offers a meticulously curated experience that traces the band’s artistic evolution and iconic aesthetics. The exhibition is based on the Lunatics’ collecting heritage and is presented to the public for study and knowledge of the band’s history. A standout feature of the exhibition will be a special appearance by Ian Priston, esteemed Pink Floyd historian, who will be speaking to the public on Saturday 12 July. Ian will deliver an illustrated talk entitled Pink Floyd – BBC Radio 1967–1971, based on the acclaimed book he co-authored and his subsequent research. Ian’s presentation will shed light on the home recording enthusiasts and BBC engineers, whose efforts were instrumental in preserving the band’s early radio sessions, at a time when the BBC itself did not archive them. The event is produced by the G. Carducci Library – Department of Culture of the Municipality of Spoleto, under the patronage of the Legislative Assembly of the Region of Umbria, with the support of Pietro Coricelli S.p.A.
Admission to both the exhibition and Ian Priston’s talk is free, though advance booking is advised via lunatica.eventbrite.it. Booking for Ian Priston event via ianpriston.evenbrite.it
