I Ragazzi del Musical are back on stage at the Teatro Caio Melisso in Spoleto, on February 15th at 9.15 p.m., with the show R&G: La Follia Di Verona, an event included in the program of the 192nd Spoleto Carnival.
The show will immerse the audience in the heart of Verona in 1594. A divided and mad Verona .
A madness, the one between the Montagues and the Capulets, that will leave a long trail of blood.
A love that tries in every way to dampen a hatred that seems to be born from very remote times.
A love that will succeed in bringing peace only through its tragic ending.

Nostalgia di Dio
Teatro Caio Melisso – Spazio Carla Fendi
In particular, I mean the children at their earliest stages, small, omnipotent Gods. Influenced by the fable we’ve been told, illustrated by the endless Madonnas with Child, my Catholic child imaginary – which is the only one I have, as probably many of us who would later give up – has rooted there. It is there, before the age of 10, on those images, that the indelible impression was formed: that of a child-God, seen from the perspective of the mother.
In short, God, for me, is more a son than a father. A son who, if not really a God, is at least almighty. This is according to Freud what we all are for a short time. How can we not want to go back?
Nostalgia di Dio moves therefore in this strange crossing between the homesickness and the nostalgia of the omnipotent childhood, which has matured inside me lately, without understanding it yet completely.
All children are children. God is a child. God is a son. Are all children God? Who knows. However, one thing is known: for mothers, children, they never grow up.

Restaurants, wine bars, inns and taverns will offer 4-course menus for the evening of July 31st.
It will be possible to book from Thursday 16th.
From piazza Garibaldi to piazza Campello, 32 catering activities will participate in the event
Thirty-two restaurants in 7 squares and 18 streets of the historic centre. The “Toast to Spoleto” initiative, scheduled for Friday 31 July, will be a great event dedicated to the promotion and knowledge of the main food and wine products of Spoleto.
The initiative, conceived and organized by the City of Spoleto along with Confcommercio Umbria – Mandamento Spoleto and Consorzio Operatori Turistici ConSpoleto, is involving all the catering activities in the historical centre of the city, from Piazza Garibaldi to Piazza Campello, passing through Corso Mazzini, Piazza del Mercato, Via Porta Fuga, Piazza Duomo, Via Monterone…

It is the first real opportunity to return to live together the squares and streets of Spoleto after the lockdown, thanks to the outdoor spaces available in restaurants, taverns, and wine bars.
“Let’s drink a toast to Spoleto” will be a tasting experience entirely focused on the typical products of the Spoleto valley, a sort of sensory journey that each restaurant will develop in four courses, offering menus designed specifically for this event.
From Thursday 16 July it will be possible to book for the evening of the 31st by contacting directly the catering activities that have joined the initiative (the PDF list can be downloaded here >> https://bit.ly/3iSb1Bf).
Restaurants, inns, wine bars and taverns will be easily accessible via the mechanized routes (travelators, escalators and elevators) of the alternative mobility system, parking the car in the Posterna, Spoletosfera and Ponzianina car parks (the Posterna and Spoletosfera car parks are free from 21.00 to 03.00).
