PRESS RELEASE 30/09/21::
The concert of Enrico Ruggeri scheduled for November 20 at the Teatro Nuovo Gian Carlo Menotti in Spoleto has been cancelled. The official reason has been communicated in the press note of the organizers of the season Tourné, AUCMA and MEA Concerts: “The continuation of government regulations concerning the containment of the Covid-19 pandemic”.
For those who had purchased the ticket, it will be possible to request a refund by contacting the presale circuit no later than November 16, 2021.
As part of the 2019/2020 touring season promoted by AUCMA and MEA Concerti, Enrico Ruggeri will stop at the Teatro Nuovo Gian Carlo Menotti in Spoleto with his new tour “Una storia da cantare”.
The event, initially scheduled for 30 April 2021, has been postponed to 20 November 2021.
Enrico Ruggeri boasts a career of more than forty years, he reached success at the end of the seventies as the leader of the punk rock group Decibel, appreciated by the general public for songs such as “Polvere” and “Contessa”, with the latter reaching the final stage of Sanremo Festival in 1980.
Ruggeri reproposes on stage the successful tour that brought him to the theatre last year. Renamed “Una storia da cantare” (A story to sing) as the last single of the singer-songwriter, the show will propose his great successes. As always, there will be songs that have been missing from the setlist for some time, monologues, and, in some cases, interpretations of classic songs. Always bearing in mind the principle that each concert must be different from the previous one.
Enrico Ruggeri will be accompanied by Paolo Zanetti (piano) and Davide “Billa” Brambille (accordion, flugelhorn, cajón).
