OUT OF THE PALACE – If I want to have fun, I READ
The Municipal Library promotes the culture of reading among children and families within the framework of Il Maggio dei libri, an event now in its 9th edition, promoted by the Centre for Books and Reading of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, with the contribution of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of University and Research.
Books for children and teenagers will be on display: books in cloth and cardboard, small stories, sound books, pop-ups, tactile books, and many others will offer children and parents an overview of the best literature dedicated to children, teenagers, parents, educators in general.
Information material will be distributed on the reading projects that the Library promotes in the area: Giocalibro with schools of all levels, Nati per leggere, and others…
The message of this year’s edition is READING AS FUN. In addition to books there will be games, memory tests and skills for children and adults who can “play” as helpers. Final prize: a surprise book for those who have proven to be a reader or who want to become one.
The initiative is carried out by the Municipal Library “G. Carducci” with the collaboration of Civil Service interns: Sara Antonelli, Saverio Baiocco, Eleonora Benedetti and Thomas Pompili.
