Brief journey between lost realities and minimal dreams at the solstice of the pandemic.
An art project in a volume edited by Serafino Amato
Photographic images and texts by Serafino Amato narrate, in a volume entitled Arrocco 2021-2022, Spoleto alta//bassa (112 pages, Ed. Nuova Eliografica Fiori, 2022), the present of a city “a place very rich in testimonies and millenary passages” with “a non ‘mythological’ vision of a reality that “even in the short span of a thirty-year period has undergone evident transformations.”
The work, published in collaboration with RAI Per il Sociale and Rai Umbria, will be presented in Spoleto on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at 5:30 p.m. in the “G. Carducci” Municipal Library (Palazzo Mauri, Via Brignone, 1). The mayor of the City of Spoleto, Andrea Sisti, and the director of Rai Per il Sociale, Giovanni Parapini, will bring their greetings. Speeches will also be given by Mario Bravi (secretary general SPI CGIL Perugia) and architect Giorgio Flamini. Conclusions: Danilo Chiodetti, city councillor for the Enhancement of cultures, quality and beauty of the city and the territory. Actor Claudio Trionfi will read excerpts from the book.
