“From the top of the towers”, guided tours of the Camera Pinta and the defensive routes of the Rocca Albornoz and “Capolavori da Museo”, themed guided tours in the Spoleto Card museums
During the Christmas holidays Sistema Museo continues its programme of themed guided tours to discover the incredible historical and artistic heritage of the museums in the cities of Spoleto and Campello sul Clitunno. The scheduled meetings involve the six museums of the Spoleto Card network: the Rocca Albornoz – National Museum of the Duchy, the National Archaeological Museum and Roman Theatre, Palazzo Collicola, the Casa Romana, the Church of Saints John and Paul and the Tempietto sul Clitunno.
The guided tours “From the top of the towers” continue to discover the Camera Pinta and the defensive routes of Rocca Albornoz, an opportunity not to be missed to discover the close relationship between the defensive function of the fortress and its strategic position in the territory (in the event of bad weather the guided tour will be modified).
The Christmas programme also includes the thematic guided tours “Capolavori da Museo” to the collections of the Spoleto Card museums, a unique opportunity to fully enjoy the museum tourist card and discover the precious historical and artistic heritage of Spoleto and Campello sul Clitunno.
The activities are organised by Sistema Museo in collaboration with the Direzione Regionale Musei dell’Umbria – Rocca Albornoz – Museo Nazionale del Ducato di Spoleto – Tempietto sul Clitunno and Museo Archeologico Nazionale – Teatro Romano di Spoleto, the City of Spoleto and the City of Campello sul Clitunno.
