Saturday 6 October at 9 at the Sala Antonini, Rocca Albornoz the XXI Convention on Palliative Care will take place, organized by Aglaia in collaboration with Usl Umbria 2.
This year’s theme is The Necessary Conversations, i.e. the verbal interaction during the patients’ final days, with a particular focus on the law 219/17.
The topic will be dealt with from various points of view, clinical, socio-philosophical and judicial.
Attendees will be able to speak with experts to be helped draft one’s own Living Will, following one’s own conviction while respecting the law.
The projects “The Necessary Conversations” and “Aglaia for Alzheimer” will be introduced, addressed to the citizenship, in particular to the young, at the presence of mayor Umberto de Augustinis.
The 2018 Aglaia Prize will be given to Gianni Conti, for his constant, profound closeness to the association.
