BEWARE! On FRIDAY MORNINGS, from 7.00 to 14.00, because of the weekly market, the parking lot is ONLY accessible to cars through Via Anfiteatro and Via Ponzianina.

FROM THE PONZIANINA PARKING LOT TO THE CITY CENTRE
To exit the parking lot, take Via del Tiro a Segno towards the left. At the end of the street, turn left and cross the bridge, where you’ll find the escalator to the upper town on the left.

For your return, we suggest a pleasant downhill walk through the city centre’s pedestrian area, with two options:

When you reach piazza Torre dell’Olio, you can take Via Gregorio Elladio to the right, which then becomes via Ponzianina. At the end of via Ponzianina, cross the bridge and turn right onto Via del Tiro a Segno.

Alternatively, you can descend to the beautiful Piazza Garibaldi, pass through its arches, and after crossing the often dry Tessino stream, take Via Cacciatori delle Alpi to the right. This will lead you to Via del Tiro a Segno at its end.
