The project “Interferences” conceived by ADD-art for ArtVerona 2014 arrives at its third appointment. In addition to the work “Lettera” on display at the fair, the artist Benedetta Galli presents her latest works in Spoleto, involving twell-known theatre, cinema and TV composer Francesco Verdinelli in a growing series of artistic contaminations.
Thousands of copies of the same photo, ordered on a canvas, tell the infinite selves of Benedetta in the form of a contemporary mosaic, many portraits dissolve the initial image becoming, in the distance, almost invisible to the viewer.
“Like her portraits and bodies, she closes each letter in the bubble, making them small interactive objects and no longer just sounds to be articulated. But Benedetta’s “bubble” explodes and fragments speech and language like personal relationships that are broken and recomposed… only by chance are words of complete meaning found in Lettera. The sound of words are sound waves that spread like rings in water and with a skillful combination of light and dark colors, they capture the eye hypnotically, giving the impression of movement. Images that in the geometric rigor always seek the game of optical vibration… Interferences between letters, images and sound, thanks to the audio track that reproduces the sound of falling rain with varying intensity, to accompany the circularity of the silicone drops, their brightness and lucidity similar to water, the most precious element on this planet. Benedetta had already created an audio for her works: a heartbeat, which like the dripping of Lettera symbolizes the passing of seconds, the scanning of time that sees us change every passing moment“.

Consistent with its transdisciplinary investigation, ADD-art encourages with this exhibition the interference between visual arts, music and photography; the comparison of these different disciplines will help bring out the existence of new data and multiple levels of crossing that act as junction and junction between the disciplines themselves.
The exhibition promoted by ADD-art participates in “ARTE in CONTEMPORANEA”, an itinerant vernissage on the streets of Spoleto between art, music, architecture and sculpture!
