27th National Tourist Guide Day

On the occasion of the 27th NATIONAL TOURIST GUIDE DAY, Spoleto-based tourist guides (Daniela Cittadoni, Ebe Angeli, Annalisa Proietti and Irene Maturi) are glad to offer a free guided tour of Spoleto to citizens and tourists. The tour will be in Italian language.

An opportunity to discover and deepen knowledge about Spoleto’s history and architecture, walking along alleys and squares that hide noteworthy historical facts and anecdotes.

SCHEDULE:
h 9.15 Meeting Point at Casina dell’Ippocastano and short welcome speech by Spoleto’s Mayor
h 9.30 tour departure
h 12.30 end of tour

ITINERARY
Arch of Drusus and Roman Temple – Crypt of S. Isacco – Roman Forum – the Town Hall and its Sundial – Vicolo della Basilica and Roman Basilica – Ponte delle Torri – Piazza Duomo (in its Medieval topography) – Cathedral – Vicolo dello Spagna – San Gregorio della Sinagoga (ancient Jewish quarter) – Corso Mazzini Roman Decumanus and Roman Theatre.
