Exhibitions, meetings, book presentations, conventions, theatre: this is the program organized by the City of Spoleto on the occasion of 8 March, to celebrate “courage, thought, work, love and art” in the universe of women.
Tuesday 8 March at the Biblioteca Comunale at 16.30, the program starts with a meeting with journalist and writer Luca Attanasio, who will present “Se questa è una donna”, a book of his on the theme of migration. During the conversation, Cristina Antonini will read some excerpts from the book. On the same day at 18.330 by the gallery “Officina d’Arte&Tessuti”: opening of the “MIGRAZIONI” exhibition, featuring works by BASMATI, Elisabetta Diamanti, Stefano Di Stasio, Emanuela Duranti, Vittorio Fava, Roberto Mannino, Noushin Mogthader Gilvaei, Lydia Predominato, Virginia Ryan, Maria Teresa Romitelli.
Wednesday 9 March at the Sala Pegasus at 18.00: “Storie di ordinaria ironia: racconti al femminile” (Tales Of Ordinary Irony: Women’s Stories), reading by Cristina and Marina Antonini, organized by Donne Contro La Guerra and Il Cerchio.
Thursday 10 March at 17.30, Palazzo Collicola (access from the back) “il tè delle signore: chiacchiere fra donne che hanno qualcosa da dire” (Ladies’ teatime: a chat among women who have something to say) organized by Associazione Teodelapio.
Saturday 12 March at 18.00, gallery “Officina d’Arte&Tessuti”, concert by Monica Pontini (violin) and Angelo Silvio Rosati (organ) in “Il violino nel Seicento da Roma a Magonza” (XVIIth-cen violin, from Rome to Mainz).
Sunday 13 March at the Caffè Letterario in Palazzo Mauri, at 16.30, Maria Antonia De Santis, Isabella Caporaletti and Laura Tuili will be awarded the DONNA SAPIENS PRIZE. Organization: Donne Contro la Guerra and Fidapa BPW ltaly Spoleto Section.

Saturday 26 March at the Cantiere Oberdan at 18.00: “NOTA NATA FEMMINA” organized by Orizzonti.
Saturday 2 April at the Biblioteca Comunale at 16.30, meeting: “I Diversi Canoni della Bellezza, Fascino e Seduzioni in Gravidanza” (The Various Canons of Beauty – Charme and seduction in Pregnancy), organized by Bioetica e Diritti Umani
Friday 22 April at 16.30 at the Sala dello Spagna by the Town Hall, convention: “La città storica: nuove strategie per una città sostenibile. Le azioni” (The historical city, new strategies for a sustainable city. Actions) organized by Fidapa BPW Italy Spoleto Section.
