FIDAPA BPW ITALY Spoleto Section has organized two meetings, included in the list of events organized by the City of Spoleto in collaboration with local Females’ Associations. The first one is scheduled for Sunday 13 March at the Caffè Letterario, on the occasion of the 5th edition of the “PREMIO DONNA SAPIENS” (Woman Sapiens Prize), organized yearly in collaboration with the association “Donne contro la Guerra” (Women Against War).

It awards women who, through their talent, have contributed or are contributing to promote the area in diverse ways. The 2016 prize, in line with FIDAPA’s National Theme, will be awarded to writer and actress Maria Antonia De Santis, writer Isabella Caporaletti and entrepreneuse Laura Tulli.

The second event is scheduled for Friday 22 March at the Town Hall and is organized by Distretto Centro. It is a meeting on FIDAPA’s National Theme “The Historical City. New Strategies for a Sustainable City. Actions”, a theme that Fidapa BPW Italy started raising in Rome, to submit new strategies to the attention of involved cities through a gender perspective. Fidapa BPW Italy’s national, district and section authorities will join in. The evening will be completed by the yearly CANDLE CEREMONY, to introduce FIDAPA’s new members.
