Saturday 19 March at 15.00, the connection between the Spoleto-Assisi Cycle Lane and the Former Spoleto-Norcia Railroad will be officially inaugurated with a ceremony at the “Mattonelle” Terminal in Pontebari.

The route was bestowed the “Italian Green Road Award” for the best bike trail in Italy. The combined route is 102 km long and winds along charming landscapes and villages through the Valle Umbra and the Valnerina.
