This year, the Spoleto Festival of Two Worlds takes place from 24 June to 10 July; 17 days of great events including more than 50 titles and 150 opening curtains: opera, music, dance, theatre, special events and art exhibitions (click here for the programme —> http://goo.gl/PNwObt).

With its 59th edition, the Spoleto Festival confirms its original character and international prestige. Historical meeting place of diverse cultures, it offers excellent visibility to great artists and emerging ones alike.

Directed by Giorgio Ferrara for 9 years, the Spoleto Festival has grown dramatically, from 5000 spectators in 2007 to 70.000 in 2015. This led to growing attention by institutions, artists, operators, firms and media on the new festival, an accomplished event by the world-wide appeal that cannot be missed.

Thus commented artistic director Ferrara: “In the proliferation of new worlds and new people, the lure of Beauty, Intelligence and Art echoes from the depths of a time still young. That echo is also a commandment not to waver while in their defense“.
