Sunday 29 May 2016 at the Albornoz Palace Hotel (h 17), a concert by the Spoleto Wind Ensemble “Città di Spoleto” is scheduled. On that occasion, the book “Quando la banda suonò” (Italian for “When the band played”) by Franco Mosca will be presented. The book tells the story of the Spoleto Wind Ensemble in the frame of the city’s historical and social events. It is a concert/event dedicated to a little-known part of the city’s history.

By writing this book, Franco Mosca aimed at documenting the origins of the musical band, and at retracing some of Spoleto’s historical, artistic and social events.
The book will be on sale at the end of the concert.
