‘La Valle Incantata’, a documentary on the works by plein air painters portraying Valnerina landscapes

The artistic project COLLICOLAND’s next appointment features the projection of a documentary film by Franco Passalacqua, ‘LA VALLE INCANTATA’, scheduled for Saturday 18 March at 16 at the Sala Pegaus.
The meeting, moderated by Gianluca Marziani and Andrea Tomasini, will feature Franco Troiani, Franco Passalacqua and Giuliano Macchia, will be the occasion to share this page of Art History, still little known and investigated. These landscapes’ en plein air portrayal came well before the Impressionists, pre-dated the invention of cameras by 60/70 years, and represented a revolution in the art of painting. Terni and her valley were the northernmost place of en plein air painters. The project features art historian Anna Ottani Cavina, and is included in the 10th edition of “VIAGGIATORI sulla FLAMINIA – Ibis redibis…/Human nature and condition”, conceived by Franco Troiani / STUDIO A’87 and curated by Emanuele De Donno, Giuliano Macchia, Fulvio Porena, Franco Troiani.
