“Processing and product innovation in the Italian oil industry” to relaunch Umbria and tourism
The convention “Processing and product innovation in the Italian oil industry”, organized by the Accademia Nazionale dell’Olivo e dell’Olio and by the City of Spoleto will take place on Friday 7 and Saturday 8 April at the Chiostro di San Nicolò in Spoleto. A two-day meeting in which researchers, experts, businessmen, journalists and operators will focus on the innovation in the olive grinding and other topics.

This is a meaningful sharing occasion for our sector and I hope it is also going to be an opportunity to relaunch our area, struck by the seismic events”.
The initiative is supported by the Ministry for Agriculture, Regione Umbria, City of Spoleto, National Academy of Olive Tree and Olive Oil, SOI, Sissg, University ofPisa. A free tasting of olive oil will take place on Saturday 8 April, at the end of the works.
