Exhibitions of nativity scenes in different places of Spoleto during the Christmas period and up to the feast of the city’s patron saint San Ponziano.
As part of the initiative a monumental nativity scene of 300 pieces will be exhibited.

THE WORLD ON STAGE
30 December – A documentary on the Spoleto Festival’s history – Teatro Nuovo Gian Carlo Menotti – h 20.00
Directed by Benoît Jacquot and Gérald Caillat, after an idea by Giorgio Ferrara, the film presented at the Rome Film Festival, tells the story of 60 years of one of the most prestigious festivals in the world.
NIGHT OF LIGHTS AND SOUNDS, BY DANNY ROSE

In the heart of Spoleto, on the palaces’ façades and on the floor of Piazza della Libertà, a journey around the world will come to life through images and sounds. The five continents will meet and contaminate each other with incredible visual suggestions, accompanied by the compelling rhythm of Italian folk music performed by Rione Junno and then, after midnight, by a Trance live set, specially designed for the most magical night of the year.
