The Municipality of Spoleto joins the Cuori di Biscotto (Heart Cookies) Telethon campaign, a fundraising to support research into rare genetic diseases.
Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 May, many Italian cities will be part of a chain of solidarity with individuals, companies, public administrations supporting mothers of children affected by rare genetic diseases, mothers who struggle every day with so much strength and courage for their children’s lives.
The Municipality of Spoleto has become part of the Comuni del Cuore network; fundraising stalls will be set up on Saturday, May 5, at Piazza Vittoria and on Sunday, May 6, at Piazza del Mercato.
Heart Cookies will be offered against a minimum donation of 12 euros (20 for two boxes, 30 for three boxes and so on) to support scientific research. The tin box (pink, green or yellow) will bear the words “Io sostengo la ricerca con tutto il cuore” (I wholeheartedly support research).
