Mamma li Turchi was born in January 2013 in Umbria from the meeting of “immigrant” musicians, who have moved away from their lands, or who have found their ideal homeland in Southern Italy. It was born from an intimate need to keep alive within ourselves the sense of belonging, the fire of passion and our roots, because the deeper the roots go, the more it is possible to know what is different from us, making this experience an opportunity for growth. Mamma li Turchi is therefore always looking for new sounds, which start from philological study and then seek a dialogue with the sounds of other peoples.

What will the protagonists invent so as not to disappoint the rich Father Annibale?
