The FILM
● After the loss of his wife, a professor (Valerio Mastandrea) lives secludedly somewhere close to the Area 51 in Nevada. Supposed to work on a secret governmental project, he actually spends his days and nights listening to sounds from deep space on his sofa. His only contact with reality is Stella, a wedding planner who works for alien-seeking tourists.
Then came a message from Naples: his dying brother is sending him his sons, who will thus reach the professor in the States.

● Paola Randi was born in Milan, graduated in Law and started working for international quangoes in favour of women in economics, parallelly cultivating her interest in art, music and theatre. She founds TTR mag along with Federico Parenti and Chiara Sforni, originating a festival by the same name dedicated to research theatre.
After her transfer to Rome, from 2003 she exclusively dedicates herself to cinema.
Selected in 2004 for the Internationale Filmfestspiele Berlin Talent Campus, she is taught by Ken Loach, Mike Leigh Stephen Frears and Walter Murch. In the same year she follows Werner Herzog’s seminar at the Turin Holden School.
She authored a number of films, short movies, documentaries, experimental videos, animation movies and TV series.
Her first feature-lenght film, Into Paradiso (2010), presented at the Venice Film Festival receives a number of awards and four nominations at the David di Donatello.
