NOTE LETTERE. SUCCESSFUL FIRST APPOINTMENT WITH MARIA ROSARIA OMAGGIO
In collaboration with the Teatro Lirico Sperimentale and the Carducci and Carandente Libraries, the recital festival returns on Wednesday 29 and Friday 31 August
A successful first appointment for “Note Lettere”, the recital festival organized by the City of Spoleto, by the City Libraries “Carducci and “Carandente” and by the Teatro Lirico Sperimentale “A. Belli”, collaborated by Andrea Tomasini.
Three such meetings are included in the frame of “Le Quattro Stagioni Spoleto d’Estate 2018”, that feature music, literature and opera for the pleasure of the citizens and guests of Spoleto.
The festival was opened on Thursday 23 August at the Sala Frau with “Il Flauto magico” read by actress Maria Rosaria Omaggio, joined by the Teatro Lirico Sperimentale di Spoleto ‘A. Belli’ singers Zdislava Bockova, Emanuel Bussaglia, Giordano Farina, Alessandro Fiocchetti, Miryam Marcone, Susanna Wolff, and pianists Andrea Barbato and Azzurra Romano. Mariachiara Grilli took care of the musical programming.
Culture councillor for the City of Spoleto Ada Spadoni Urbani said: ”It was a very interesting show, attended by many in spite of the change of location due to weather issues. I am particularly proud of the work done by the libraries and by Teatro Lirico Sperimentale, they really proved able to organize a pleasant show of culture. I thank my close friend Maria Rosaria Omaggio, who recited divinely, the Teatro Lirico singers for their bravura and professionalism, and the City staff, which organized the 2018 Summer events magnificently”.
Next appointments include Duchesse e Regine on Wednesday 29 August at the Casette, and Don Giovanni on Friday 31 August at the Centro Civico di San Nicolò amphitheatre; both appointments are at h 21.00.
