The 28th International Dance Competition will be held from Aprile 9 to April 13, 2019 at Spoleto’s Teatro Nuovo Gian Carlo Menotti.

The Competition, which sees Alberto Testa as honorary president and Irina Kashkova as artistic director, presents this year two major innovations: the inclusion of a new category called “Promesse”, reserved for young people between 9 and 11 years old, and of a section dedicated to “Groups”, for those who want to present a choreography work taken from the classical, neoclassical, modern-contemporary and folk repertoire.

Under the general direction of Paolo Boncompagni, the artistic direction of Irina Kashkova and the honorary chairmanship of Alberto Testa, the International Dance Competition has become an unmissable event, participated by young dancers from all over the world. It is the only Italian event of its kind to be part of the International Federation of Ballet Competitions, that gathers the best international dance competitions on the basis of their artistic quality and successful organization.
