The concert MOGOL RACCONTA MOGOL, scheduled for Friday, May 3 at 21, is organized by the Association Santo Sepolcro Foligno Onlus, under the patronage of the City of Spoleto and Fondazione Terra Santa, and promoted by the Commissariat of the Holy Land for Umbria.
The proceeds from the concert, with the band La Compagnia, will go to the children of “Terra Santa School” in Jericho.

BIOGRAPHY
Giulio Rapetti Mogol was born in Milan on 17 August 1936. He began his career as an author in 1961 and immediately won the Sanremo Festival with “Al di là” written with the composer Carlo Donida and interpreted by Luciano Tajoli and Betty Curtis. After winning the prize for best author, the result of a vote of 800 experts in the field of “pop”, he meets Lucio Battisti, composer and guitarist, and in 1965 they start to collaborate together.
With his collaboration, this musician-singer reached the top of Italian charts, becoming one of the most valuable national artists of the 70s and 80s.
He wrote for Battisti, Mina, Celentano, Morandi, Tony Renis, Bobby Solo, Mango, Cocciante, Equipe 84, Dick Dick, Vanoni, Lavezzi, Gianni Bella, Dalla, Tenco, David Bowie and many others. He founded Numero Uno, an Italian record label, which competed with international labels for the best-selling Italian albums.
