A double biography of two of the most famous protagonists of Italian Renaissance, Isabella d’Este, Marquise of Mantua and Lucrezia Borgia, Duchess of Ferrara, who become sisters-in-law after the third marriage of Lucrezia to Alfonso d’Este: Alessandra Necci will present her book “Isabella and Lucrezia, the two sisters-in-law. Women of power and court in Renaissance Italy” on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 17:00.
