The Experimental Opera Theatre‘s operas and recitals, Maria Rosaria Omaggio starring in Note Lettere, a series of chamber music concerts directed by Niccolò Muti, a comic show directed by Riccardo Leonelli, set in Ancient Rome, a monologue by Stefano de Majo on St. Francis and Monteluco Sacred Forest, a recital dedicated to Lucrezia Borgia, the concerts at dawn by Umbria Ensemble at Rocca Albornoz, a tribute to the swing of the 30s and 40s, a recital-tribute to the Neapolitan musical tradition and to the medieval one again with Maria Rosaria Omaggio, the most important cycling event in central Italy along the picturesque route of the former railway Spoleto-Norcia, the magic of tango with TangOpera and the traditional Mid-August tombola, a festival of craft beers and a charity street food event, trekking and guided tours to discover celebrated monuments and hidden corners of the city: these are just some of the events of Spoleto d’Estate e non solo… (Spoleto in Summer and much more…) a rich and dense program that, extending seamlessly until the end of the year, composes a long and uninterrupted program of events, confirming Spoleto’s vocation as an ideal city for entertainment and culture.

More big names and important events will follow until December: Uto Ughi and Patti Smith, a concert that celebrates Ennio Morricone‘s musical mastery and a mini music festival entitled “Spoleto Jazz Season” that boasts, among others, names such as Fabrizio Bosso and Javier Girotto, and a National Festival of Typical Italian Cakes entitled Dolci d’Italia.
