A festival dedicated to craft beer will be held in Spoleto’s old town from 27 to 29 September. An event, included in the programme of Spoleto d’Estate 2019, which combines beer, street food, music, taste, typical produce and fun.

Booper – Beer’n’roll Fest is the preview of the Craft Beer Festival, an event that every year will celebrate and promote the world of beer production, in collaboration with trade associations.
A project between quality productions, territorial development and tourism promotion. Tasting craft beers will be the true focus of the event, but a series of food and musical events are also scheduled, for a journey through time, riding the emotional wave of rhythms, colors and atmospheres of a style – country, western and folk – that characterized the ’30s, ’40s and ’50s.

The event, organized by the City of Spoleto together with Associazione culturale Stazione Musica, Associazione Even Sound and Studio grafico Wolly & Felix, will take place in Spoleto’s old town, between Piazza Pianciani and Piazza della Libertà, along a path flanked by several producers and street food kiosks. Live bands will perform in Piazza della Libertà.

The programme includes Friday, September 27, from 5 pm, The Legendary Kid Combo, a folk-punk music group that over the years has mixed different sub-genres such as country, psychobilly, rockabilly and balcan in a style summarized by the band itself with the term cock-a-billy.

Saturday, September 28, again from 5 pm, is the turn of The Rock ‘n’ Roll Kamikazes, an ensemble with a “black” sound, which recalls the blues of the origins mixed with the swing of the 50s and influenced by the best soul and r’n’b of the 60s and 70s.
Every concert will be followed by a DJ set.

On Sunday, September 29 a DJ set will entertain the audience starting from 5 pm.
