The National Academy of Olive Tree and Olive Oil organizes a convention in collaboration with the Dipartimento di Scienze Agrarie Alimentari e Ambientali of the Università degli Studi di Perugia and with the City of Spoleto, gathering important representatives of the academic world, the main national association of olive oil producers and members of the Ministero delle Politiche Agricole Alimentari e Forestali. The aim is to discuss the new European policies in support of olive growing in the next future.

The works will be held at the Complesso Monumentale di San Nicolò, will be coordinated by the president of the Italian Society of Agrarian Economists Francesco Marangon, of the Università degli Studi di Udine. The convention is also organised thanks to the contribution of Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Spoleto.
