40 stands, exhibitions, conferences, side events: this is the rich offer of the 25th Mushrooms and Spontaneous Herbs Market Fair, that was inaugurated this morning in piazza Garibaldi.
Mayor Umberto de Augustinis and Pro Loco president Maresa Silvestri have cut the ribbon for the event organised by Pro Loco Spoleto in collaboration with “Gruppo Micologico Valle Spoletana”, herb experts, university professors and other local Pro Loco. The opening ceremony was attended by Pro Loco vicepresident Gianni Burli and councillors Angelo Loretoni, Francesco Flavoni, Alessandro Cretoni and Massimiliano Montesi.
The 40 stands scheduled showcase typical products from all over Italy: mushrooms, nuts, chestnuts, vegetables, legumes, spelt, rice, oil, cheese, saffron, fruit, marmalade, juice, extract, biscuits, and more.
This 2019 edition, besides being the fruit of a collboration among all local Pro Loco associations, also features the involvement of the city of Ceva in Piedmont, that hosts an international fair on mushrooms and herbs.
