The weekly appointment of Mezz’ora dopo la chiusura on Friday 24 January 2020 at h 18.30 is dedicated to the Raspi exhibition, Collages and Paintings 1959 – 1963, that opened last 14 December and is dedicated to the Spoletan artist who was also a member of the Spoleto Six. The exhibition will be illustrated by its curator, the architect Giorgio Flamini, at the presence of Piero Raspi himself.
The meeting focuses on the Collages, which started as an experimentation between 1958 and 1964. Their production was alternated to that of big, informal paintings, unlike which the Collages show a subtle, ironic vein. Both paintings and collages have remained hidden in the author’s archives and are therefore new and unrevealed to most. The appointment is at Palazzo Collicola at 18.30.
