Saturday 5th December, three online events organised by Palazzo Collicola: videos of the exhibitions of Ugo La Pietra, Giorgio Griffa and Giovanni Carandente streamed on the Facebook pages of the City of Spoleto and Palazzo Collicola
On the occasion of the 16th Day of Contemporary Art of Saturday 5 December, Palazzo Collicola has organized three online events to present the exhibitions by Ugo La Pietra, Giorgio Griffa and the upcoming exhibition dedicated to Giovanni Carandente.
A change of format caused by the health emergency that did not allow the free opening of the halls of the Palace, as usual for the event promoted by AMACI, the Association of Italian Contemporary Art Museums.
“Despite closed museums,” explained artistic director Marco Tonelli, “Palazzo Collicola has continued to develop its cultural activities, producing video documentaries on the exhibitions inaugurated on 31 October and preparing the next exhibition dedicated to Giovanni Carandente. In this period of closure, the donation of Paolo Canevari’s sculpture ‘Libertà’ to the museum was also completed and Palazzo Collicola’s YouTube channel opened.”
