On the occasion of the Republic Day, on Wednesday 2 June the Rocca Albornoz and the National Museum of the Duchy of Spoleto, the Casa Romana, Palazzo Collicola and the Church of Saints John and Paul open to the public.
The Casa Romana, usually open on Thursdays and Fridays from 3 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 6.30 p.m., will be open to the public on Wednesday 2 June from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The extraordinary opening of the Church of Saints John and Paul is scheduled in the afternoon from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. (other opening days are Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.).

Palazzo Collicola will also be open in the afternoon. On Wednesday 2nd June the public can visit the “G. Carandente” Modern Art Gallery, the Appartamento Nobile and the temporary exhibitions from 3.30 p.m. to 7 p.m. (other openings are on Thursday and Friday from 3.30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 10.30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 3.30 p.m. to 7 p.m.).

The Rocca Albornoz – Museo Nazionale del Ducato di Spoleto will also be open from 10.30am to 6.30pm (last admission at 5.45pm). On Wednesday 2 June, the Regional Directorate of the Museums of Umbria, in collaboration with Sistema Museo, is offering a guided tour of the fortress’ defensive routes at 11.30 am. The visit will be an opportunity to admire the fortress and the city from a privileged and unforgettable point of view. In the event of bad weather, the visit to the defensive routes will be replaced with a guided tour of the Camera Pinta painting cycle.

Fares for the guided tour: Full price € 4.00 – Reduced price € 3.00 from 7 to 17 years and for Spoleto Card holders.
Participation in the guided tour requires the wearing of a mask and respect for distance. The guided tour is limited in number and booking is compulsory while places last.
