On 22 and 28 July, two appointments at the Chico Mendes Park for the youngest

Readings aloud for families and children up to 10 years of age in the parks and green spaces of the city: it is called “Letture al Parco” (“Readings in the Park”) the initiative that the “Carducci” Library of Spoleto proposes for children during the summer of 2021.

The first two events will be held in the play area of Chico Mendes Park on Thursday 22 and Wednesday 28 July at 6 p.m. In August, readings are scheduled every Thursday at 6 p.m. in other green spaces in the city, which will be announced in the coming days.

The event aims to combine the pleasure of storytelling and narration out loud in an open-air location through a repertoire of readings designed for the very young, is organised with funding for the Centro per il Libro e la Lettura (Centre for Books and Reading) and is one of the actions to promote reading at the Carducci Library as part of the “Città che Legge” project.
