The concert VOYAGE at the Teatro Nuovo Gian Carlo Menotti Friday 20 August at h 21
New appointment with the concerts in Spoleto. On Friday 20th August at 9 p.m. the Festival Correnti del Nera will be in Spoleto at the Teatro Nuovo Gian Carlo Menotti where Guido Rimonda will play the violin with the Soloists of the Camerata Ducale Orchestra.

VOYAGE is the title of this concert featuring music by Vivaldi, Tartini, Gluck, Albinoni, Myers, Chaplin, Jones and Aznavour. Internationally acclaimed violinist Guido Rimonda has performed in the most important concert halls in Italy and abroad and has to his credit more than a thousand concerts as solo violinist and conductor.

In 1992 he founded Camerata Ducale with pianist Cristina Canziani. The Soloist Group of the Camerata Ducale Orchestra was born within the orchestra by the same name and consists of a number of musicians who for years have collaborated in the dual role of first parts and soloists, united by the desire to propose the great music of eighteenth-century classicism to an ever wider audience.

The name Camerata Ducale is inspired by the Cappella Ducale, an orchestra based in Turin in the 18th century under the auspices of the Savoy family and composed of the most important Italian violinists of the time, including Giovan Battista Somis, Gaetano Pugnani and Viotti. We look forward to seeing you on Friday at the Teatro Nuovo in Spoleto for this unmissable concert!
