F@MU, the National Day of Families at the Museum, returns on 10 October 2021 with “Nothing happens before a dream”, a special opportunity to visit participating Italian museums in a special way with the whole family.
The educational operators of Sistema Museo await young and old for “Il sogno dei Longobardi” (The Langobards’ dream), an activity for families with children aged between 6 and 11, in two very special places, guardians of Langobardic culture.
The programme starts at h. 11.30 at the Rocca Albornoz and National Museum of the Duchy of Spoleto, where participants will be led by an expert and their engaging stories, to discover the fantastic world of the longbearded people, the Langobards.
The second appointament is at h. 14.30 at the Tempietto sul Clitunno in Campello sul Clitunno, where the young visitors will have the chance to admire and discover the secrets of Langobardic art, ten years after the inclusion of the serial site “The Longobards in Italy. The Places of Power (568-774 A.D.)” into the UNESCO WHL.
The proposed theme, “The Langobards’ Dream”, offers the opportunity to guide families and children to the discovery of fantastic events that will involve all participants in a dream experience!
The event is organised by Sistema Museo under the supervision of the Director of the National Museum of the Duchy of Spoleto, with the contribution and coordination of the City of Campello sul Clitunno and the Regional Directorate of Museums of Umbria.

Participation is FREE OF CHARGE, upon purchase of an entrance ticket to the monument, in accordance with the regulations in force (free entrance up to 17 years of age).
Booking is compulsory while places last. Participation in the scheduled educational visits requires compliance with the current Covid-19 regulations.
In the event of bad weather the scheduled activity at the Tempietto sul Clitunno will be cancelled.
