“Dall’alto delle torri”, guided tours of the Camera Pinta and the defensive routes of the Rocca Albornoz and “Museum Masterpieces” themed guided tours in museums
Themed guided tours continue to discover the incredible historical and artistic heritage of the cities of Spoleto and Campello sul Clitunno. A rich calendar of appointments involving the museums of the Spoleto Card: from the Rocca Albornoz – National Museum of the Duchy to the National Archaeological Museum and Roman Theatre, from Palazzo Collicola to the Casa Romana, up to the Church of Saints John and Paul and the Tempietto sul Clitunno.
From Thursday 28 October, the initiative From the top of the towers returns. The programme includes guided tours of the Camera Pinta and the defensive routes of the Rocca Albornoz, allowing visitors to relate the defensive function of the fortress to its strategic position in the territory (in the event of bad weather the guided tour will be modified).
The initiative Capolavori da Museo (Museum Masterpieces) continues, with special thematic guided tours of the collections of the Spoleto Card museums, a unique opportunity to fully enjoy the museum tourist card and discover the precious historical and artistic heritage of Spoleto and Campello sul Clitunno.
The activities are organised by Sistema Museo in collaboration with the Direzione Regionale Musei dell’Umbria – Rocca Albornoz – Museo Nazionale del Ducato di Spoleto – Tempietto sul Clitunno and Museo Archeologico Nazionale – Teatro Romano di Spoleto, the City of Spoleto and the City of Campello sul Clitunno.
