Four appointments dedicated to children from 26 November to 2 January 2022. The initiative of the City of Spoleto in collaboration with Sala Frau and Sala Pegasus.

To increase children’s interest in the cinema, this is the aim of ‘Spoleto Cinema Kids‘, the initiative of the City of Spoleto in collaboration with the Sala Frau Cinema and the Sala Pegasus Cinema, which from 26 November to 2 January offers a calendar of events dedicated to children.

The four encounters will all be introduced by a small snack or breakfast, depending on the time of the programme, will be free of charge and will involve the Sala Pegasus Cinema and the Sala Frau Cinema, allowing children to meet and share moments of fun together with their families.

The first event will be at the Sala Frau on Friday 26 November with Sing, an animated film written and directed by Garth Jennings. At 5.00 p.m. there will be a small snack and at 5.30 p.m. the screening will start.

On Sunday 12 December a morning appointment at the Sala Pegasus (10.30 a.m. breakfast at the cinema and screening at 11.00 a.m.) with La gabbianella e il gatto, an Italian animated film directed by Enzo D’Alò and based on the novel ‘Storia di una gabbianella e del gatto che le insegnò a volare’ by late Chilean writer Luis Sepúlveda.

The third animated film to be screened will be The Little Yeti (original title ‘Abominable’) written and directed by Jill Culton, scheduled for Friday 17 December at Sala Frau (5.00 p.m. small snack; 5.30 p.m. start of the screening), while the last appointment is with Dililì in Paris, on Sunday 2 January at 10.30 a.m. with breakfast at the cinema and at 11.00 a.m. with the screening of the film.
