Spoleto Card: Guided S/S in January

Five events to discover the city’s cultural heritage

Five appointments are scheduled in January with thematic guided tours of the cultural heritage of the city of Spoleto.

The first such meeting will focus on Romanesque Spoleto with a guided trek from the Church of SS Giovanni e Paolo. The visit will take place on Sunday 2nd January at 10.30 a.m. and the meeting place will be at the ticket office of Palazzo Collicola.

On Sunday 9 January, again at 10.30 am, there will be a trek to discover the city’s theatres with ‘Spoleto… a stage of emotions‘ (the meeting place will again be the ticket office at Palazzo Collicola).

The third appointment of the month will be dedicated to the Collicola family. On Sunday 16 January at 11.30 a.m. there will be a guided tour of the noble flat (meeting point: Palazzo Collicola ticket office).

The last two visits are scheduled for 23 and 30 January. The first, ‘Mosaics and wall paintings‘, will be dedicated to the Roman House, with an appointment at 11.30 am; while on the last Sunday of the month the visit, starting at 1 pm, will be to the Longobard treasure, the Tempietto sul Clitunno.

The thematic guided tours and city treks are free of charge for Spoleto Card holders.

Non Spoleto Card holders can participate at a reduced rate of € 4.00 per person in addition to the museum ticket and in the city treks at a rate of € 7.50 per person, in addition to the museum ticket, where applicable.

Thematic guided tours and city treks are upon reservation only, limited in number while places last and in compliance with the current Covid-19 regulations.

For city treks, reservations are compulsory by 6 p.m. on the preceding Saturday.
