Eight appointments from 3 to 25 April
Eight events are scheduled in April to get to know the city’s historical and artistic heritage. The first visit, on Sunday 3 April at 11.30 a.m., will be dedicated to the painting cycle of the Camera Pinta with Stories of love and weapons. The meeting place will be the Rocca Albornoz ticket office.
The second appointment is scheduled for Sunday, 10 April at 10.30 a.m. and will concern the Tempietto sul Clitunno, ‘A monument that has fascinated for centuries‘, since 2011 a Unesco World Heritage Site in the serial site ‘The Longobards in Italy. Places of power (568-774 AD)” (meeting will be at the ticket office of the Tempietto).
Three guided trekking tours are planned for the Easter weekend. The appointment on Saturday 16th April at 3.30 p.m. will concern the Roman House and the ancient Spoletium (the meeting place will be the ticket office of the Roman House), while the one on Sunday 17th at 10.30 a.m. will be on the theme ‘Spoleto stage of emotions‘ to discover the beauties of the city. On Easter Monday, 18th April, again at 10.30am, the programme includes ‘Palazzo Collicola and the city’s noble residences‘ (the meeting place will be Palazzo Collicola, ticket office).
Three appointments are also planned for the following weekend. Saturday 23rd April at 3.30 p.m. guided trekking on the sites of the TV series Don Matteo (meeting at Palazzo Collicola, ticket office), Sunday 24th April at 10.30 a.m. a Walk Through History to discover the wonders of the city, while Monday 25th April, again at 10.30 a.m., appointment with Romanesque Spoleto, from the Church of Saints John and Paul to the city.
THEMATIC GUIDED TOURS and CITY TREKS are free FOR SPOLETO CARD HOLDERS.
Non-SPOLETO CARD-holders can participate in the scheduled GUIDED TOURS at a reduced rate of € 4.00 per person in addition to the museum ticket and to the CITY TREKS at the rate of € 7.50 in addition to the museum ticket.
Guided S/S and City Treks are upon reservation exclusively, limited in number and subject to avalability; compliance with the current anti COVID19 regulations mandatory.
The deadline to reserve the City Treks is 6.00 pm of the day before.
