Just a few days remain until the opening of the 4th edition of ‘SPOLETO IN FIORE’, the great event of floriculture, herbs, gardening and local products.

Around fifty exhibitors from all over Italy will be present. A large number of businesses will also be there, nurseries will brighten up the exhibition areas with the colours of the many flowers on display.

Approximately three hundred and twenty metres of exhibition, starting in Piazza Pianciani and continuing along Corso Mazzini, Piazza della Libertà and ending in Piazza Fontana.
Absolute novelties will be on display and two extremely interesting round tables are planned.

The first one is scheduled for Friday 3 June at 5.30 p.m., will be ‘The Embrace of the Earth‘ featuring speakers Dr. Fabrizio Dionigi, Vice President of ‘Raccolti di Comunità’ and Dr. Marco Pennacchi, President of the Spoleto Social Farm.

On Saturday 4 June, again at 5.30 pm, the round table “Saffron and its potential economy” will be held featuring speakers Dr. Luciano Giacchè, Prof. Agostino Lucidi, Dr. Gianfranco Lipparelli and Dr. Riccardo Loreti from the Spoleto saffron farm. Prof. Stefania Chiocci, teacher at the Spoleto Hotelier Institute, will also speak.

Spoleto in Fiore will climax on the afternoon of Sunday 5 June, from 5.30 p.m. at the Casina dell’Ippocastano when, to music performed by Gli Apaches, chef Fabio Ferretti will cook the world’s largest ‘strangozzata alla spoletina‘ for all those present!

An extemporaneous painting session is also scheduled, during which the artists will present their works.
