Spoleto Card: July and August Guided S/S

Ten events are scheduled in July and August to get to know the historical and artistic heritage of the city.

JULY

The first guided tour, dedicated to the Tempietto sul Clitunno, will be held on Sunday 3 July at 3.00 p.m. with ‘A monument that has fascinated for centuries‘ (the meeting place will be the ticket office of the Tempietto).
The second appointment is scheduled for Sunday 10 July, the final day of the 65th Festival dei Due Mondi, at 3.00 p.m. with ‘A stroll across history‘, a guided trek through the city and to the Church of Saints John and Paul (the meeting place will be at the ticket office of Palazzo Collicola).
History of love and weapons‘ will instead be the theme of the guided tour of the Camera Pinta painting cycle, scheduled for Sunday 17 July at 11.00 am (the meeting place will be the ticket office of the Rocca Albornoz), while Sunday 24, again at 11.00 am, will be the turn of the trek ‘On the sites of the TV series Don Matteo‘ to discover the beauties of the city (the meeting place will again be the ticket office of Palazzo Collicola). The last appointment in July is for Sunday 31 at 11.00 am with a thematic guided tour of the noble flat of Palazzo Collicola.

AUGUST

Five Spoleto Card initiatives also in August. The ‘History of love and weapons‘ and the guided tour of the painting cycle of the Camera Pinta (Sunday 7 August at 11.00 am) and the ‘A stroll across history‘, the guided trek through the city and to the Church of Saints John and Paul (Sunday 14 August at 11.00 am) are back.
On 15 August, again at 11.00 a.m., a ‘Journey through Roman Spoleto‘ is scheduled, a guided trek from the Roman House to discover ancient Spoletium, while on Sunday 21 August at 3.00 p.m. there will be a return to the Tempietto sul Clitunno with a visit to ‘A monument that has fascinated for centuries‘.
The August programme closes on Sunday 28 at 11.00 a.m. with the guided trek ‘On the sites of the TV series Don Matteo‘.
The themed guided tours and treks in the city are free for Spoleto Card holders.
Those who do not have the Spoleto Card will be able to participate in the themed guided tours at a reduced rate of € 4.00 per person in addition to the museum ticket, and in the city treks at a rate of € 7.50 per person, in addition to the museum ticket, where applicable.
Thematic guided tours and treks in the city are by reservation only, subject to a limited number of places and in compliance with the current Covid-19 regulations.
For the city treks, reservations are compulsory by 6 p.m. on the previous Saturday.
