The Umbria Ensemble concert, the 76th TLS Opera Season, ‘Street Lessons’ with Angelo Ferracuti, initiatives at the Social Farm and the 40th ‘Ferragosto Spoletino’ at the Casina Ippocastano
Ferragosto weekend full of events, including the Umbria Ensemble concert, the 76th Opera Season of the Teatro Lirico Sperimentale, the ‘Street Lessons‘ with Angelo Ferracuti, the initiatives at the Fattoria Sociale in Protte and the ‘Ferragosto Spoletino‘ of the Proloco of Spoleto at the Casina dell’Ippocastano.

Tonight, Friday 12 August, at 6.00 p.m. at the Teatro Caio Melisso – Spazio Carla Fendi, ‘La Tragédie de Carmen‘ by Marius Constant, Jean-Claude Carrière and Peter Brook. The Opera Season will continue on Saturday 13th with a double performance at 12.00 a.m. and 8.30 p.m.

Also tonight, but at 8.00 p.m., the Social Farm will host ‘Lupus in fabula: stories of full moon‘, a dinner under the moonlight with a performance directed by L.G. Santiago, followed by a performance by Martha Clarke of La MaMa Re_Main – Entrance Book 2022.

Also back is ‘Street Lessons, Space Readings’, Saturday 13 August at 6 p.m. in Morgnano di Spoleto with writer Angelo Ferracuti, who will discuss the theme of ‘Workers’ Cultures‘ with the audience in front of Pozzo Orlando, a relic of industrial archaeology and today a museum of lignite mines.

Also on Saturday 13, in the square of Rapicciano at 9 p.m., there will be the concert ‘La Muerte Del Ángel‘ by Umbria Ensemble – Suoni di boschi e d’abbazie, to the music of Piazzolla and Puccini.

The events at the Casina dell’Ippocatano of the 40th edition of ‘Ferragosto Spoletino‘, organised by the Proloco di Spoleto, also continue until 15 August.
