Concerts by the Umbria Ensemble

Saturday 20 August at Chiostro di San Nicolò
and Saturday 27 August at Rocca Albornoz

After the success of the concert ‘La Muerte del Angel’ in the square of Rapicciano, Saturday 20 August is the second appointment with ‘Suoni di boschi e d’abbazie‘ and the musical interpretations of the Umbria Ensemble.

Weaving the melodic lines in the concert ‘The Magic Flute‘, which will be held at the Cloister of San Nicolò (originally planned at the Roof Garden in Piazza Campello) starting at 7pm, will be Massimo Mercelli (flute), Maria Cecilia Berioli (cello) and Claudia Giottoli (flute) on music by Franz Joseph Haydn, Philip Glass and Johann Sebastian Bach.

The next appointment with Umbria Ensemble will be with the Dawn Concert ‘The Blue Angel‘, scheduled for Saturday 27 August at 6.15 a.m. at the Rocca Albornoz.
