The summer events programme organised by the City of Spoleto in cooperation with local associations and institutions continues with music, readings and theatre for children.

Friday 26 August at Spazio Collicola 6.30 pm there will be the last appointment with Teatro Incantato, theatre performances for children and families. On stage will be ‘Cinderella‘ by the Granteatrino company of Bari.

Three appointments on Saturday 27. The first one will be at the Rocca Albornoz at 6.15 am with the concert ‘L’Angelo Azzurro’ by Umbria Ensemble, featuring Angelo Cicillini and Cecilia Rossi on violin, Luca Ranieri on viola, M. Cecilia Berioli on cello and Claudio Piastra on guitar.

At 6.30 pm, included in the Festival Internazionale Green Music – VI edition, the concert ‘Heart&Earth’, Love Letters to Umbria by pianist composer Egidio Flamini at the Cortaccione Funerary Enclosure.

Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 August from 6.00 pm new appointment with ‘Spoleto in piazza’, street artists will animate the streets of the historic centre. The event is organised by La Mama Umbria.

Paesi in Versi, scheduled for Saturday 27 in Terzo San Severo is postponed to a later date.

Two concerts are scheduled this week for Collicola Jazz Connection at Spazio Collicola, where on Sunday 28 August at 9 p.m. there will be Echoes Sustain Able feat. Roberto Zechini, while on Tuesday 30 there will be a concert by the Simone Locarni Trio feat. Yuri Goloubev & Fabrizio Sferra. During the evening, the Giulio Loreti Foundation Award will be presented to Simone Locarni as the best European jazz talent 2022 in collaboration with the Spoleto Europe Jazz Award.

The ‘Born to Read‘ appointments (Nati per Leggere), the meetings organised by the city library to promote family reading from an early age, are back. The appointment is for Tuesday 30 August at 5 p.m. at the G. Carducci Library in Palazzo Mauri. Carducci Library in Palazzo Mauri.
