Four appointments to get to know the historical and artistic heritage of the city and the area
Four appointments are scheduled in September, organised by Sistema Museo to get to know the historical and artistic heritage of the city and its territory. The first guided tour, dedicated to the Tempietto sul Clitunno, will be on Sunday 4 September at 3 p.m. with Un monumento che affascina da secoli (A monument that has fascinated for centuries). Tthe meeting place will be the ticket office of the Tempietto.
The second meeting is scheduled for Sunday 11 September at 11 a.m. with ‘Passeggiata nella storia’ (Walk Through History), a guided trek through the city and to the Church of Saints John and Paul (the appointment will be at the ticket office of Palazzo Collicola).
On Sunday 18 September at 11.00 a.m., the guided tour will be to the painting cycle of the Camera Pinta, ‘Storia d’amore e di armi‘ (‘History of love and weapons‘). Meeting point: Rocca Albornoz, ticket office.
The last scheduled appointment is scheduled for Sunday 25 September at 11.00 a.m. and will be ‘Viaggio nella Spoleto Romana‘ (Journey through Roman Spoleto), a guided trek from the Casa Romana to the discovery of ancient Spoletium (meeting place will be the ticket office of the Casa Romana).
Thematic guided tours and city treks are free of charge for Spoleto Card holders.
Without the Spoleto Card you can still participate in the thematic guided tours scheduled at a reduced rate of € 4.00 per person in addition to the museum ticket, and in the city treks at a rate of € 7.50 per person in addition to the museum ticket, where applicable.
Thematic guided tours and city treks are by reservation only, subject to availability and in accordance with the current Covid-19 regulations.
For city treks, reservations are compulsory by 6 p.m. on the preceding Saturday.
