CONTAMINAZIONI: ARTISTIC-LITERARY REVIEW OF DIFFERENT EXPRESSIVE GENRES AND RELATED EVENTS
Comics and animation cinema. Two veritable giants, Andrea Pazienza and Milo Manara. A theatrical performance inspired by Pier Paolo Pasolini. These are the first appointments of ‘Contaminazioni‘, the artistic review that this year investigates the relationship between the big city and the provinces.
Organised by the cultural association Teude, Borgowriters and Piano B, in collaboration with the Sala Pegasus Cinema and the patronage of the City of Spoleto and the Province of Perugia, the event will begin on Sunday 18 September, at the Sala Pegasus, with a matinee dedicated to comics and animated films curated by Luca Raffaelli.
Two appointments are scheduled: at 10 a.m. the ‘Strippando‘ project on the theatrical dramatisation of a comic strip will be presented, accompanied by a video featuring Andrea Pazienza and Milo Manara. At 11 a.m. there will be a screening of the Italian animation film ‘Yaya and Lennie – The walking liberty‘, presented at the Locarno Film Festival 2021, followed by a meeting with director Alessandro Rak moderated by Luca Raffaelli.
‘Mio sacro poco‘ is the title of the play that will be held at the Caio Melisso Theatre – Spazio Carla Fendi at 5.30 p.m. with Anna Rita Antonelli, Elisabetta Conocchia, Emanuela Duranti, Laura Frascarelli, Leonilde Gambetti, Jessica Vitali and the extraordinary participation of Marina Antonini. Conceived and directed by Fabiana Vivani.
The show aims to bring to the stage that part of society that Pier Paolo Pasolini investigated, dissected and frequented. Urban, social and human periphery, with its protagonists, its stories and its dynamics, through which the intellectual prefigured, well in advance, the transformation of the popular strata into indistinct masses, unaware victims of consumerism and homologation.
The events scheduled from Tuesday 20 to Saturday 24 September at Palazzo Mauri and at the Teatro Caio Melisso – Spazio Carla Fendi will be presented during the press conference presenting ‘Accade d’autunno a Spoleto’, which will be held on Monday 19 September at 12 noon in the Sala dello Spagna of the Town Hall.
