Thursday 3 November at the Teatro Caio Melisso at 9.00 pm thgere will be a concert by Anthony Strong, pianist ands singer from London, whose style, as a true “English gentleman” of yesteryear, has already conquered major international audiences. Understated charm and unmistakable voice, Anthony will present his musical project “Easy sailing”, along with Nick Costley-White on guitar, Spencer Brown on double-bass and David Ingamells on drums.

The pianist and crooner, now considered the new superstar of the mainstream British jazz, trained at three of the most important music schools in England, starting with classical music and then moving on to jazz. Here, inspired by the likes of Oscar Peterson, Bill Evans and Winton Kelly, he found in Frank Sinatra, Mel Tormé and Nat King Cole his natural and physiological artistic line. To date, Anthony has performed in 26 countries on 4 continents, in prestigious venues such as the Belem Cultural Centre in Lisbon, the French Jazz in Marciac festival, the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore and the Litchfield Festival in the USA. A guest for the first time at Visioninmusica in 2013, he has always been a huge success and this year he will tread the Spoleto stage for the first time.

Tickets (15 € and 12 €) are available on Vivaticket.
