“Quanto resta della notte” | Thursday 8 December, 8.30 p.m.

On stage, Nichi Vendola and his eight poetic chapters along with music by Popoulous and videos by Mario Amura. Words, music and images against inhumanity, in search of a new day.
We will speak of nationalists and sovereignists, of war, racism, male chauvinism, and suprematism in all its forms. We will talk about Alan Kurdi, the boy with the red T-shirt, symbol of all the children who died in an attempt to migrate. We will talk of feminicide, of harm to democracy, of suspension of the fundamental rights of freedom. We talk about death and birth, home and family, love and a child, the light of a new day.
The performance is promoted by the SAI Project (Reception and Integration System for Asylum Seekers and Refugees) of the cities of Spoleto and Castel Ritaldi, both managed by the Cooperativa Sociale Il Cerchio.
SAI is made up of the network of local authorities that at territorial level, with the valuable support of third sector realities, guarantee ‘integrated reception’ interventions that go beyond the mere distribution of board and lodging, providing in a complementary manner also information, accompaniment, assistance and orientation measures, through the construction of individual socio-economic integration paths.
