LUNΔTICA – PINK FLOYD COLLECTORS EXPO | Collectors’ exhibition for the band’s 60th anniversary @ Biblioteca Comunale "G. Carducci"
Jul 11 all-day

LUNΔTICA – PINK FLOYD COLLECTORS EXPO
Collectors’ exhibition for the band’s 60th anniversary: stories, rarities and memorabilia. Over 500 objects including old posters, rare vinyls, posters, photos and autographs
Spoleto – Palazzo Mauri – 11-27 July 2025

More than 500 items including precious memorabilia and rare collector’s treasures to tell the 60-year story of Pink Floyd: LUNΔTICA – PINK FLOYD COLLECTORS EXPO is the richest collectors’ exhibition ever presented in Italy, including original posters and historical playbills, vinyls and audiocassettes, photographs and autographs, programmes and magazines, postcards and documents, with some unique pieces never exhibited before. The event retraces the band’s extraordinary recording, concert and iconographic history, from their first experiences in 1965 to their last albums, in an exhilarating journey through the sounds, ideas, forms and emotions that shaped a significant slice of the musical and visual scenario of the 20th century. It will also include the extraordinary participation of Ian Priston, one of the leading Pink Floyd experts, who will meet the audience on Saturday 12 July to talk about his book Pink Floyd – BBC Radio 1967-1971 and present the results of his research.

Thanks to the collector’s heritage of The Lunatics, an Italian group of reference for the study and historical and philological knowledge of Pink Floyd, the important material on display, of extreme rarity, will be set up, from 11 to 27 July 2025, on three floors of the 17th-century Palazzo Mauri (home of the “G. Carducci” municipal library of Spoleto) to allow a comprehensive diachronic and synchronic narration of the group’s iconic journey and to enhance the complex synaesthetic and transmedia texture of Floydian aesthetics and language.

The exhibition LUNΔTICA – PINK FLOYD COLLECTORS EXPO was realised by the ‘G. Carducci’ Library – Department of Culture of the Municipality of Spoleto with the Patronage of the Legislative Assembly of the Region of Umbria and thanks to the collaboration and support of Pietro Coricelli Spa, sponsor of the initiative.

Admission is free but online booking is recommended: lunatica.eventbrite.it
